JAPAUL GULF ELECTRO MECHANICAL LLC (JPGEM) is an Engineering and Contracting Company, fully registered in three locations in the Middle East – Abu Dhabi & Dubai in UAE and Muscat in the Sultanate of Oman. The three locations operate as independent subsidiaries but under the management of Japaul International (of the Japaul Group of Companies).

Japaul Gulf Electromechanical LLC offers its expertise in the areas of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Systems design, and Fire-fighting services. JPGEM undertakes contracts of different magnitude and executing same from start (conceptual/design stage) to finish (project completion and commissioning).

In the UAE, JPGEM has operated for close to half a decade and still soars high to attain the dreams of the Group. It is the success and persistence of the Japaul International in the UAE, even in the light of the economic downturn that then led to the birth of JPGEM in Oman (a major MEP Company in that region).

JPGEM Oman, even still at its birth stage, is already involved in handling major Governmental project designed towards the speedy development of the Sultanate of Oman (which is one of the fast growing economies at present)

History
JPGEM was incorporated in the year 2004 in Dubai, having its first office at Jadaf in Dubai, JPGEM stated with 10 staff and as at December, 2010 has more than 500 staff on its employment. The company now has the capability of handling project in excess of $100million.

Management Team

Amb. Benson Awomewe -Group Executive Director, International Operations
He is presently leading the company at the international front.  He is leading the Japaul International arm of the business which comprise of Japaul Electro-Mechanical LLC UAE, Japaul Oil and Maritime Services FZE, UAE, Japaul Mines and Products and Japaul LLC, Maryland. Graduated with honours in Applied Geology. He has cumulated more than Twenty (20) years of experience in the Oil & Gas industry. His experience spanned through Technical, Commercial/Contracting, Managerial and Government/Community Liaison. He is a Business Ambassador to the State of Austria.

Osaro Felix Omoregie - Engineering (Team Head)
He obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Lagos, LagosNigeria in 1998.  He has over 13years of experience in Engineering, Consulting, Contracting and Project management in Power plants, Oil & Gas and Building Industry; He has practiced Engineering over the years in Africa, the GCC countries and China. Felix worked with Prime Konsult Engineers in his days as a Design Mechanical Engineer in the MEP field and completed Projects in Nigeria, NigerRepublic, Sudan and Equatorial Guinea.  He Joined Oska-Jo & Partners in 2000, and executed Hydro & Thermal  Power Plant as well as Oil and Gas Projects in Nigeria and China. From where he joined Japaul Gulf Electro Mechanical LLC UAE and heads the Engineering Department presently in the execution of MEP Projects

ShoaibNaeem - Project Management (Project Engineers)
He is a B.E Mechanical Engineering graduate from AMU, Aligarh in 2006 has served with Japaul Gulf Electromechanical LLC since February 2007 as MEP Mechanical Engineer in several projects and presently on the Quriat Housing Project in the Sultanate of Oman. He also has garnered experience in the field of HVAC design while working with A.H Consultant Pvt. Ltd India.

Johnny Cachin - Business Development
He is a graduate of Electrical Engineering at Don Mariano Marcos Memorial State University (DMMMSU). License number 0018891 as a registered Electrical Engineer in the Philippines, issued upon passing the Registered Electrical Engineering Examination. Johnny had been an active member of Junior Institute for Integrated Electrical Engineers from 1998 to 2005. With main experiences in Electrical Layout and designing. This also includes supervision and implementation as per plan on-site and as per specifications. Prior to joining Japaul in 2011, Johnny has worked as an Electrical Line Engineer under Castle Construction LLC on notable projects like the 5 star ASIANA HOTEL, U.A.E.

Henry Awe ­- Finance (Team Head)
He is presently the Finance Manager is a Student Member (Professional Level) of Association of Chartered Certified Accountants UK and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He joined the service of the Company in 2007. Before that time, he had been with D&G Oil &Gad Abuja Nigeria as their Accountant and some other organisations. He has been involved in the Management of the Company’s Financials among other assignments.

Omotosho Yakubu - Administration (Team Head)
He studied Law at Usmanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (1995), attended the Nigerian Law School, Lagos and after the successful completion of Youths Service Corps, he joined thereputable Law Firm of Ayodele’Gafar& Co. Kano - 1996-2001. Attained LLM from Obafemi AwolowoU niversity, OsunState (2000). From then on, in 2001, he proceeded to join the Legal Department and Company Secretariat of the defunct Trade Bank Plc, and later went into private practice to establish the Law firm of Tosho Yaqub& Co. in Abuja, Nigeria as a Managing Partner before joining Japaul Group of companies (Middle East Operations) in the capacity of Legal Adviser in 2007 and later became the HR/Admin Manger the position occupied till date. He is a member of some professional bodies among which are Nigerian Bar Association, Chartered Institute of Taxation, Nigeria (Associate), Institute of Management Consultants.

Air-Conditioning, Ventilation, Refrigeration And Air Treatment, Building Automation, Controls, Industrial and Process Services, Plants and Machinery Installation, Construction of Pumping Stations, Sewage Treatment Plants and District Cooling Systems, LPG systems, CO2 monitoring Systems, Offshore Installation (MEP) on ships, barges, luxury yachts and boats.

• Electrical:

Power Generation Plants, Power Distribution System, Power, Lighting and Control Systems, Lighting Protection Systems, HV/LV Cabling, Fire Detection & Fire Alarm Systems, Low Current System such as CCTV, MATV, SMATV, Telephone, Data-Intercom, GSM, Public Addressing System and Security Systems.

The workforce of JPGEM spans over 500workers and still expanding based on the requirement for our ongoing projects and our projection target for upcoming projects.
