Japaul Energy Limited is a Subsidiary of JOMS Plc. ,the subsidiary was incorporated in April, 2011 to do business in trading of Petroleum Products. The line of Petroleum Products include but not limited to DPK (Kerosene) , AGO (Diesel), PMS (Petrol), Bitumen, Jet-A1, LPG (Cooking Gas) etc.
The Company is positioned to do business in Nigeria and all the Coastline of West Africa countries.
The Company has gone into alliances with some foreign Companies with years of experiences in the trade in order to be able to deliver quality services to its Customers.
Management Team
Jegede A. Paul - Group Managing Director/ CEO
He is presently leading the Management team of the company in the capacity of Group Managing Director (GMD). He holds a degree in Accounting from the University of Ilorin and an MBA from Rivers State University of Science and Technology, Port-Harcourt, River State,Nigeria.
He is also a Fellow member of Nigeria Institute of Shipping. He worked with various reputable organizations before Incorporated Japaul and joined the Board of the company in 1997 as the Managing Director.
Paul Jegede has been presented with various awards and the latest of them is the award of for one of the 50 Men of Integrity in Nigeria.
Adebola Olagbaju - MD/CEO Japaul Energy SA
Mr. Adebola Olagbaju attended the famous Government College Ibadan and later graduated from the Hammersmith and West LONDON College (Baron's Court) in the UK in 1983 specializing in trading and commercial law. He is also a 1983 master degree graduate in commerce and international trade.
From Strathclyde university Glasgow, specializing in international trade
finance for developing economies. He was thefounding Executive Director of Blankevoort dredging Nigeria Limited ; Director of Masefield petroleum West Africa Limited and current Chairman, Board of directors of Milestone Dredging West Africa Limited. He is highly respected in a trade all over West Africa having consulted and still
Consulting for many petroleum trading companies in Nigeria and French Africa. He is a member of many professional bodies in oil trading and shipping. He is a co founder and Managing Director of Japaul Energy SA and Vice Chairman/director of Japaul Energy Limited.
Paul Ugian - Managing Director Japaul Energy Limited
Mr. Paul Ugian is an experienced executive in the oil and gas sector of Nigeria.
He began his career in the oil and gas sector as a general manager for Maconi Shipping and Oil Services Limited. He then moved to Caverton Marine and Offshore Services Limited to become one of the pioneers. With the experience gained working at Maconi and Caverton, Mr. Paul Ugian proceeded to establish Surf Oil and Gas in 2003—an indigenous company involved in downstream operations of the oil and gas sector—and subsequently serving as its first MD/CEO. He also established P’s Maritime in 2003, an indigenous shipping company.
As a result of his recorded successes in the Oil and Gas sector, Mr. Paul Ugian was appointed the pioneer managing director of Japaul Energy Nigeria in 2011—a position he holds till date.
Mr. Paul Ugian is an alumnus of Saint Gregory’s College, Lagos. He holds a degree in Business Management from the University of Calabar.
Ajayi Babatunde Oladipupo - Business Manager
He is presently the Business manager for Japaul Energy limited, a subsidiary of Japaul Oil and Maritine Services PLC. He has beeb in the oil industry since the last 24 years in employment with Elf Oil Nigeria Ltd, Total Nigeria PLC. He has worked in various capacity and departments from general services, supply and distribution operation, sales and marketing and coastal delivery of product in the oil industry. He is a graduate of Yaba College of Technology.
